Heart of Gold Homecare LLC provides respite care to HCBS participants in the absence of their family caregiver or individuals who normally provide care for them. These services are also for our participants’ caregivers to provide them relief and their well-deserved break.
We know how much every family appreciates their loved ones and that caring for them is about more than following a schedule. Therefore Heart of Gold Homecare LLC’s respite caregivers offer companionship by providing services to both SLS and CES waiver eligibles. Our respite care is usually provided on a short-term basis or as needed in our care facility.
Our respite services varies per age. It includes:
- Walking to get fresh air and exercise
- Accompanying to errands or to doctor appointments
- Assistance with grocery shopping
- Answering phone and door
- Companionship
- Meal planning and preparation
- Feeding
- Limited personal care
